A set of H.M.S.S. teaspoons by Australia’s finest native-born silversmith; Stuart Devlin, AO, CMG.

Born in Geelong in 1931, Devlin completed art school at the Gordon Institute, Geelong. He travelled to London

on a scholarship where he designed Australia’s decimal coinage, the insignia for the Order of Australia as well as the coins

for 30 other countries. He opened a West end shop from where he sold gold and silver pieces as well as furniture.

The ‘State Candelabra’ at Yarralumla were crafted by Devlin. Devlin died in 2018
